Whoa. It’s been a while. I just looked at the Archives over there and realized I haven’t posted since May. There are a few reasons for that, and I’ll get to them before I’m done, but for now, welcome back!
My first piece of news is that my new novel, What Not to Fear, has a release date! July 1st, you’ll be able to read the further adventures of the Pixie Godfathers! X and Ricardo are back, and this time the Morrigan herself has assigned them a new mission. They’ve got their work cut out for them, too. Golems and Fae, Angels and Demons, all of them are going to learn what not to fear!

Next, I’ve recently run another Book-A-Day giveaway over at The Romance Studio. The response for the A Christmas Evening Vigil giveaway was outstanding! And… the winner is… Gary Haynes! Congratulations, the good folks over at Decadent Publishing should be sending you your copy of A Christmas Evening Vigil shortly!
That leads into the next piece of news. The response for my two Book-A-Day giveaways has been outstanding, and more than half of all the entrants asked to be added to my newsletter. With such a fantastic amount of interest, I just had to put together a newsletter, right? So now I’ve got a newsletter! It goes out on the first of every month, and I’ll be putting in all kinds of things. There will even be occasional newsletter-only contests! All you need to do to be added to the list is eMail me at bob.roman@gmail.com, put “Newsletter Subscription” in the subject line, and I’ll add you to the list!
Next piece of news is the new look. One of the reasons I was gone so long was a spot of technical difficulties. For about two weeks, I absolutely could not post and had no idea why. After an epic quest to unearth the problem, the mighty Ur-Goth found the cause. For about a week after THAT, I knew why, but still couldn’t post. The root cause of the problem was my old template. The Ur-Goth triumphed again and found a template that not only solved the ‘lack of posting’ problem, but cleared up a persistent problem with the menus as well.
Try them! Click on the name of a series, you get a list of books in that series! Click on one of the books, and you get routed to the page for that book! Neat, huh? Now that I’ve got that fixed up, I’m going to restart my effort to get *all* of my books properly sorted into the menus, as well as updating some of the assorted book pages themselves.
Finally, while I was prevented from posting due to the technical glitch, I realized that I can’t maintain the schedule I wanted to during the school year. With that in mind, I’m going to be changing my schedule to one I can actually get ahead of during the summer, so I can keep it up easier during the school year. Yeah, imagine. ME being all responsible and stuff. Weird, huh?
Anyhow, the new schedule is News on Tuesdays, “Other Stuff” on Fridays. Each Tuesday I’ll try to give you an idea what’s coming up on the following Friday as well.
