OK, I was going to switch to my WIP, Cat’s Paw, but the response was so good for The Strange Fate of Capricious Jones that I’m putting that off for another week!
Letting whimsy take her, Cap ran her calculations again, replacing her own weight with that of all the things she loved. Kay. Her Engines. Cap smiled sadly as she realized that the list began with one and ended with the other.
At that moment inspiration struck. Cap’s brows drew down, her eyes narrowed, and her heart sang with evil glee as mayhem and destruction filled her mind.
really intriguing! thanks for sharing another snippet
Thanks Julie!
Very intriguing! I wonder what she has planned.
Her plan was actually one of the harder things to figure out when I was writing the story originally; I was stuck for nearly a week wondering how she was going to respond to David’s treachery.
All right, I suppose I better run out and buy this to find out the rest since you’re going to cut me off this week.
Thanks for sharing these! Intriguing definitely worked, lol.
Huzzah! I really hope you like it!
Intriguing snippet…that last line really snagged my attention to what would be coming next! Nicely done!
Thanks! I do try, glad you liked it!
Hello, Robert! I love the six! I hope you’re having a great Sunday!
Hallo to you, Stephanie! Actually, this past weekend was more or less a wash. I got some laundry done and played with the little ones, but got no writing or grading done. I was sick and exhausted, so Iwound up staring at a screen a lot.
Thanks for the six love!
Oh-oh. I feel trouble coming. Thanks for sharing–great six!
Yep, when Capricious gets maniacal, Bad Things happen.
